I am going to Beijing 25 April to 2 May 09.
Wonder how the weather like around that 8 days. Still cold? wonder can we wear shorts rather than long pants?
TQ..

I was looking at the world weather and predictions in that part of world seems to be scattered clouds and possible precipitation -- it might still be cold during the night specially...so maybe stick to the pants? Or do you have those cargo pants with the zipped up bottom? I always have them when I travel...Have fun in Beijing, Norman :)

I'd say shorts if you are not going to mountainous area.
It's already warm enough for T-shirts and shorts now. It's just a little chilly at night, and it's a little windy sometimes. But at around the time you'll be here, it'll be pretty...warm.

I was in BJ around mid May. The weather was good as far as temperature but it was somewhat windy. I have read both on VT and other internet sites that BJ sometimes have sandstorms in the spring. I think they will be over (if they have any this year) by the time you get there but someone from BJ should be able to give you additional information.
