best hotel

hi can anyone please tell me the best hotel to go to in goa and what the tamarind hotel is like thanks, also i know you dont go on holiday to watch tv but if there is any tvs in the rooms thanks,

Hi - barring price, I think Taj Holiday Village in Candolim is the best hotel. I don't know about the Tamarind but one thing I would watch for is that the "beach bars and restaurants are a few minutes drive". Although their site says there is a bus stop and a taxi stand outside the gate, it means you will always need transportation to go anywhere - you won't be able to just go our your door and walk, which I think is a nice thing about Goa. Leela at Cavelossim beach is the best hotel, offcourse its around $400 per night.

As mentioned you have the 2 Taj properties(Holiday village & Aguada), again priced almost the same as Leela.
