While we will be in Chicago we wish to attend a musical. What are the theatres which perform Boradway musicals in Chicago ?

The Broadway in Chicago that was mentioned by ranger are the theatres in the theatre district in downtown Chicago. There are also a number of other theatres in the area which also put on great shows depending on what you would like to see. The Steppenwolf Theatre is an especially good theatre where a number of actors have started and gone on to careers in Hollywood.

Keep an eye on the Broadway in Chicago site mentioned above, as the economy isn't exactly in tip top shape right now, you might start to see some offers for discounted tickets. I know there's a free dinner offer for Jersey Boys on Wednesdays currently, every so often I see a deal for $20 off tickets. You might even sign up for their free emails which tell you when the next block of tickets go on sale or about these discounted deals.

I just read somewhere that Jersey Boys would be extended through October 11, 2009. It's also possible that they will extend Mary Poppins like they did with Wicked (which is gone from Chicago) but as it's a touring show and has dates in other cities, it would be with a different cast.

Chorus Line is a short run production, I think it only runs until May 3rd.

Dabs is correct Chorus Line has a short run so if you can't get tickets to JERSEY BOYS try SPRING AWAKENING which runs Aug 4-16 (if those are the dates you will be in Chicago.
