Hi all

Instead of me ploughing my way through the forum,can anyone simply tell me when is the best time to visit Goa?
I am told that there is a monsoon season?
Anyway we would like to tour but also spend time on the beach,and avoid any heavy rain.

The climate in Goa is temperate, except during the monsoon, which lasts from June to September
Goa is usually pleasant and sunny. There are no extremes in temperature .
The average temperature varies between 25°C - 30°C
Ooctober-March is a good time to visit.

Goa, like Mumbai, gets very hot. It's not uncommon to have temps at 36-37 degrees (96-98) and higher. May is extremely hot. Monsoons normally run June-September but frequently run into October. The "foreigner's" season is mid-end October to late April (according to scheduled charters). Some places do close up earlier in April. I would say Nov. to Feb. are best times to visit, but if you come around the holidays make sure to book early. Happy Travels!

from November through to April/ On xmas day i walked on to the beach at 9.15 am the temperature already climbing past 70Ft,------[Benaulim Beach] south Goa,beautiful, peaceful,and the sand is like talcum powder.--- Have a ball.
