Cape Town Safest place to stay
Posted: Sun April 12, 2009 09:58 AM UTC
I'm looking for reasonably priced accommodation in the Cape Town region that is still (if possible) central to the area.

Is Durbanville a long way away?

In saying such, what is the Cape Town equivilent of Sandton in Jozy?

Thanks!

If you hire a car from Durbanville could take you about 40 min to CApe Town, but I am sure you could find accomodation closer to Cape Town or in Cape Town, for reasonably cheap as prices are now quite lower, even good hotels have good specials Look up Protea hotels like the fire and Ice. Also look up Guest houses at savenues.co.za or safari.com. The Waterfront area is probably the equivalent. Have a wonderful time.

There are quite a number of reasonably priced places to stay in the Greenpoint area which is next to the Waterfront area. You will find from B&B to cheap/budget hotels there. Durbanville is a bit far away from the husstle and busstle of city life, more rural.

Thanks for your advice. I think I've found a nice apartment in Camps Bay.
