Subway-Xizhimen station to BJ North Railway station? Posted: Sat April 11, 2009 02:14 AM UTC
I just found out that there is a new (Aug 2008) train (S 2) from the Beijing North Railway station to the Badaling portion of the Great Wall. I was told to take Line 2 of the subway and get off at the Xizhimen station. Does anyone know the directions to walk from the Xizhimen subway station to the BJ North railway station? I also heard that the Xizhimen subway station is kind of complicated to exit?

The station is right there outside the Xizhimen station. Just exit from A or B, do not follow the direction to line 13. Exit A is at the same direction with line 13, so it might be confusing if you follow that. It's quite a mess outside the subway station, difficult to explain so you might need to ask someone where the railway station is, it's about 5 minutes away.

Sorry, I double checked, you actually have to come out from exit A. You'll see the north railway station's sign there.

And how close to Badaling does it drop you off at? There are different sections around there...is it the main one you go to? Would love to know how your trip went!
