Have a complimentary stay at this hotel. Any reviews and comments about this hotel?

Is it convenient for food and toddler?

How much wouod taxi fare costs from the hotel to Yiheyuan/Yuanmingyuan and Badaling? Do speak Mandarin and planning to tour Beijing on our own. Should I charter a car+driver for the day to the summer palaces and another day to badaling/ming tombs? Coz afraid would not be able to hail a taxi on the way back.

Rather far out and I don't think that's a particularly interesting area either. It's >1 km to the nearest metro stops, but since you're travelling with a toddler you're not thinking of using the metro, I suppose?
No need for a vehicle rental and driver to Summer Palace (think you can safely skip the Old Summer Palace unless you have a lot of time to spare). I would recommend vehicle rental and driver for the Great Wall, but NOT Badaling as it's too touristy, try Mutianyu instead.
I would estimate around 40-60 RMB taxi fare to Summer Palace, depending on traffic conditions.
