Hi all,

I will be flying from Singapore with my bf to Perth. We will reach at around 11pm and will fly off to Melbourne via domestic flight next day afternoon.

Is there any recommended accomodation near Perth airport and free transport from airport to hotel and vice versa? Preferably not too expensive for the 1 night stay.

If you're leaving in the afternoon, why not stay in the city and at least take a bit of a look around before you leave for the airport next day? It only takes 30 minutes to get out to the airport from the city centre and you only need to check in 30 minutes before your flight so you could have a bit of time.

What do you call "not too expensive"?

I don't know that anywhere provides a free shuttle to and from the airport

Intercity motel on great eastern highway is about 10- min from airport and free airport transfer (not sure on that though from airport,but free to airport).
But checkout is 10am so you will still have few hours ,so as last poster says it would be best to go into the City

I agree with Leyla. Why not stay in Perth for the night. Taxi into Perth is only around $40. And you can catch a bus to the domestic airport from St Georges Terrace....Bus no. 37 or 40 will take you right there.
A couple of good reasonably priced hotels in town are the Ibis and Miss Maud.

That way you can check out Kings Park in the morning. A nice trip to do would be to take the little tram from the Bell Tower on the water front up to Kings Park - $8 and then catch the bus no. 37 or 39 back down to St Georges Terrace Perth and that trip is free.

I am thinking of staying in Comfort Inn Bel Eyre Perth at Belmont as it provides compliementary transfers to and from airport (24 hrs). Am still exploring the different options.

Yep I know where that is....good choice :o) You'd be able to get a bus from there into Perth for a few hours in the morning as well.
