I will be arriving at Amman Airport around 4pm on the 13th of April. I would like to go to Syria by train or bus the same day what are my options? do I have to stay overnight in Amman? What hotels can you recommend in the city less than 50 dollars. How frequentare the buses and train to Damascus?

Where is the train station and what bus station do I have to use?

Can I leave to Erbid and stay overnight there? Can I leave form Erbid to Damascus next day?

from amman you can actually take a taxi to damascus for around 20 euros, so you don't need to stay overnight unless you really feel like.

There is a train but it's very slow and only goes twice a week.

Stay at the Palace hotel in Amman, its cheap, includes breakfast and the staff are excellent. It takes almost a whole day to travel from Amman to Damascus due to the border controls of each country! Palace hotel can also organise a shared taxi to Damascus for you also!
