| Lausanne | Lausanne: Apartments? Posted: Sun November 16, 2003 05:32 PM UTC
Hi,
I'm finding it difficult to find apartments in Lausanne online. I have never been to Lausanne and am in the US. Are there not many apartments/housing available? If anyone has links to apartment information or sites, let me know!! Thanks!! Everlyxana Tanya FL, USA |

There's currently a hard difficulty to find appartments in Switzerland.
Maybe you look for bed&breakfast? Or hotel? You didn't mentionned if it is for long-term ... maybe you could try www.search.ch and maybe with real estate, etc ... you will find a professional company able to find it. Good luck Dany

Are you looking for an apartment to rent long-term? It's not easy, especially from abroad. Try www.immostreet.ch

Yes, long-term apartments..a friend is having trouble finding more than a studio apartment that she's in now; she just moved there. Thanx for link!

I actually have an apartment to sublet for the remainder of the school year (from now until September). It's close to the University and the EPFL, and the lake.
Housing is competitive, but if you start early, it should be fine for you to find something. You can also contact the tourist office, because they have a list, too. Good luck, and if you want more info about my place, email me (new and fully furnished studio apt with cookingware and bedding, 910 chf, all charges included).
