I am planning a trip to Rio de Janeiro this June. Can anybody tell me how the weather will be like and if possible how to get a 2bdrmm apartment or something close for a week. Any help and advices is appreciated.

June is winter in Brazil.
As forecast is crazy the brazilian winter may be too cold or just chilly. I believe the odd-looking will be too low temperature...

Be very careful when renting any apt. in Rio. When you go, it'll be low season, but they'll still try to get as much money as possible from you. Send me a note about your trip, and I'll point you in the right direction. Since my first trip, I've been back 10 times over the past 4 years.

Hi, the weather in Rio is unpredictable at any time of year, so come prepared for any eventuality! June is 'winter', but winter is also generally drier than the summer. Last year June and July were perfect - hot and sunny with warm (but not stuffy) nights and hardly any rain. There are quite a few apartment rental companies, I usually recommend Gringo management just because I have used them, as has my father, and I find their apartments to be good value.
