Beijing JuYongGuan-Great Wall

Anyone have an idea how much it would cost to hire a driver to take me to the JuYongGuan portion of the Great Wall, wait for 1-2 hours and return me back to my hotel in the Wangfujing area?

Hi,
It costs 500RMB or so to charter a taxi. There actually are buses for the Wall and they are very cheap. If your hotel locates in the convinient distance to the bus station, you could just hop on the bus and go straghit forward the Wall. The bus leaves for the Wall at 6:30-10am but only departs at 5:30pm. You can consult the hotel servants for the detailed information and ask them to arrange the taxi or detail you the bus information for you. Many people have done so.Have a nice trip.

Thanks for the info. I just found out that there is the new train (S 2?) from the Beijing North Railway station to the Badaling portion of the Great Wall. I was told to take Line 2 of the subway and get off at the Xizhimen station. Does anyone know the directions to walk from the Xizhimen subway station to the BJ North railway station? I also heard that the Xizhimen subway station is kind of complicated to exit?
