Chinese Visa in Hanoi - HELP

Hi,
Looking desperately for info on getting a chinese visa in Hanoi. Anybody have any recent experineced of obtaining a chinese visa in Hanoi (or Ho Chi Minh)
Is it possible? How long does it take? How much does it cost? Do I need proof of accommodation/onward travel

yes it's possible. my hubby paid 145USD cause he is american, takes 4 days minimum (his 10 days).
A normal 1 month single entry is about 90-100 depends on nationality actually. We went to Nam Thanh travel in the Old Quarter. They do visa and flights tickets services. Prepare 1 passport size photo for them.
