Anyone having fresh ideas and prices how to get from Beirut to Amman?

The best way would be to take a shared Taxi from Beirut to Amman, shouldn't be more than 60$ USD in a shared Taxi, hassle free.

There are many many Taxi offices all over Beirut and they will supply you with all info and prices and bargains, and your hotel show have that info as well.

But you need to have a Syrian Visa and a Jordanian Visa.

Buses is a longer story and not much to save, and it means one bus from Beirut to Damascus/Syria, then finding another Bus from Damascus to Amman/Jordan, frankly it's too much hassle and not much money will be saved but many many hours will be wasted.

Taxi's are easier and safer and more comfortable and not to mention the time saved in all border crossings.

Well it all depends what time you arrive to Beirut Airport, if you arrive in the early morning hours then the price will be higher, but you need to Bargain, don't accept the final price they give you, there is no fixed price or meter here in Beirut, so Bargain your way , but I would not think it would be more than 50$ USD.

But you need to Bargain, and they will always work out a price with you, so when you arrive Talk to the Taxi Driver before he takes your bags, stand in your place and tell him what he wants as Final price and then bargain and when you feel he has reach his final offer and that offer is something you can live with then let him take your bags.
