Nice Nice Airport to Monte Carlo by train?
Posted: Mon March 30, 2009 09:29 PM UTC
Dear all

I have just learnt there are direct trains to Monte Carlo from the train station at Nice Airport (Gare Saint-Augustin). That would save us the bus journey into Monaco.

How easy is it to get to Gare Saint-Augustin from the airport terminals? Is it possible to walk? Is the route clearly sign posted?

Thanks
Merci

It's an easy walk. I guess it will be signposted, but I know the way, so I've never really noticed.

you can take bus 23 or walk about 20 mins to the train station to connect to Monte Carlo.this is the direction on foot

go out arrivals Porte A1.
cross the pedestrian walkway direction ARENAS, go under the bridge for the highway N98(the street is name ;Passage de la Caravelle).
Cross avenue Lindbergh and take a left at school hotelerie Paul Augier.
then, take a right at Blvd. René Cassin, just to the traffic light.
Cross to the left, pass under the train bridge SNCF(Route de Grenoble), and then take right into Av. Edouard Grinda, this is the train station main entrance.
