Hi Everyone
We are a few mums looking for accomodation .
We are coming to watch our sons compete in a soccer tournament at Bulleen.
As we are flying in and will not have cars to get around, I was hoping someone may be able to suggest some motels to stay at that are close to transport for us to get to Bullen on Sat and Sun,17th,18th April.

Maybe somewhere close to a train station that will link up with a bus to Bulleen perhaps or any other suggestions.
Would be extremely grateful for any suggestions,am desperate to get it all sorted.

There is no train line to Bulleen, closest train station would be Heidelberg, I am assuming the soccer tournament is in Bulleen Road? You could try Quest apparments in Kew as they are close to the following bus link which will take you to Bulleen Road, they are close to shops/restaurants and short walk to the bus stop.

I assume the soccer tournament is at one of the Grammar schools in Bulleen.If so be advised that the bus does not go past the school gates but turns off Bulleen Rd before, leaving you a bit of a walk. Check out google earth. I agree with that the Quest apartments are probably your best option. Good luck, and have a great time.

Web http://www.hotelshoppingtown.com.au/ - however it does not list accomodation but I do know they have it (I worked there many, many years ago). Hotel is opposite Doncaster Shoppingtown (same municipality as Bulleen) where there is a bus interchange where you can take the Heidelberg Bus. Get off at Bulleen road, where I believe there is a bus that goes Kew/Heidelberg, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Quest also have a property in Doncaster - http://www.questondoncaster.com.au/

There's also http://www.beaumonde.com.au/ which is in Doncaster Road, East Doncaster, but that would involve several changes of buses to get to Bulleen. Also Beaumonde is quite expensive.

Another option would be stay in one of many places in the city and commute to Bulleen on both days, but be warned that public transport is not very frequent on weekends.
