Hi,
Myself and my boyfriend will be in Dubrovnik for 4 nights in August. I'd like to book a room in a home. Can anyone recommend a clean home either within the walls of the old town or within a 2 minute walk to the old town. We would prefer our own bathroom and air con since it is usually very hot in August.

There are many private apartments for rent in Dubrovnik at different quality and price levels. I would definitely recommend air conditioning in August b/c it can get really hot in Dubrovnik. The Old Town can get really crowded in August too, so noise could be an issue. To avoid this, you might want to consider staying just outside of the old town. There are a lot of websites that offer accommodation and most have the same apartments, but I found www.dubrovnikapartmentsource.com to be the easiest to navigate. Good luck!

Villa Flora.....right in the old town... gorgeous, clean, quiet, lovely.....can't beat it! Cheap....about 40 euros for two with breakfast and ensuite...also has a kitchen you are free to use. Pretty sure it had AC too.
