I travelled the opposite way some years ago. I just turned up at the bus station and there very many departures and companies going between the two cities. The journey took 3.5 hours.

There are so many bus companies that travel the distance between Izmir-Bodrum especially at summer time. I don't know the exact timetable for any company but I am sure you can find buses at any time during the day if you go to central bus terminal.
