I can personally recommend Captain Cook. www.captaincookcruises.com.au. They supply free tea, coffee & bikkys on the way to Freo and free wine tasting on the way back. Make sure you visit Little Creatures brewery for lunch and some good local beers while you are in Freo :o) Cheers, Ann.

Last ferry for Oceanic is at 4pm and last ferry for Captain Cook is at 2pm. We will have to decide whether to take the first ferry out from Fremantle (we stay at Freco) to Perth or make it for the last ferry from Perth.

If last ferry is 4pm from perth to freo and you staying freo then i would take that. Or vice versa for that fact. At the end of the day its what you plan to do with the rest of the day that will float your boat! Fit it in with plans and do so accordingly. It is a nice trip but not the be all and end all of a perth stay.
