Hi there,

I'm flying in from Amsterdam to Glasgow with British Airways. Which airport do I fly in to?

Can someone let me know if this hotel is centrally located. How far is the international airport from this hotel?

If you put the postcode G3 7AW into www.streetmap.co.uk you will see exactly where the hotel is in relation to the city centre.

The hotel suggests a taxi is the easiest method of transport from the railway station where airport buses stop (or from the airport, if you prefer).

If your ticket says GLA then it is Glasgow Airport (not Glasgow Prestwick, PIK). Transport options from the airport here:

The airport is around 10 miles from the city centre.

With British Airways you will fly into Glasgow Airport NOT Prestwick. From there you have various options:
you can take a taxi (expensive), try and share a taxi (half the expense), take a bus into central Glasgow (the buses leave from the island right outside of arrivals - ask for directions), take a bus to Paisley Gilmore Street station and take a train into Central Station,and walk, or take a taxi to Paisley Gilmore Street station and catch a train. The best option is to take the bus and it will stop at the Hilton, get off here and it is a short walk to your hotel. Suss it out on .streetmap, or mappy.co.uk
