How do you get to the "Phoenix" sign that is situated on the side of the mountain from east Mesa.

Go to google maps and put in Usery Mountains. This will show you the sign. Zoom out and see how you can drive there

Cut and paste in the Search Box this:
Microwave Tower Road Phoenix AZ
Like a miracle you will be able to open a satellite image of the Phoenix Sign.
We are talking Usery Mountain park

The road up is private and gated, and the sign itself is on private property (not part of the park). It's a popular recreation area, so I'm sure they have people going up there, but I'm sure they also have people out to keep it from being vandalized, like the "A" in Tempe is almost every year.
Also, there's a gun range at the base. That, in itself, would keep me away.
