Cancún Opinion on all-inclusive in Cancun
Posted: Sun March 22, 2009 10:03 PM UTC
Hello!
My husband and I are traveling to a Cancun all-inclusive later this year to celebrate anniversary. My main criteria is a GOOD beach! So far, have narrowed it down to Westin Resort and Spa at end of hotel zone (due to best reviews of beach) . Any thoughts? Thank you!

Yes the Westin Resort is nice location and if you want to go all-inclusive, that is fine as well and very convenient. It may not necessarily be cheaper. I just prefer going around myself and finding restaurants that I want to eat at. The hotel is just a place to sleep at, but during lazy days, a great beach by your hotel would be a plus. A nice affordable but very humble hotel we stayed at with a nice beach was Ambiance Villas which is beside the Intercon where we had our breakfasts instead. You just walk over, hehehe...

La Isla Mujeres is a nice place to visit as well and go rent a golf-cart for only around $40 for a few hours...It's so much fun! Norman :)

I don't know about you, but I'm not into all-inclusive's. I prefer to stay nearby the center and go out to the restaurants.
I can't comment on the Westin, since I have not been in that hotel.

I always go all-inclusive. All the beaches are about the same right now. They were greatly damaged by the last huricane. This reduced the size and a lot of rock. But there is always room for one more
