Isla de Gran Canaria Travel Forum

Hi. My family and I are staying in Corona Blanca apartments in Playa del Ingles in June. We would really like to travel around the island by local bus, especially between Playa des Ingles and Agaete, and inland to Arucas etc. And trips to the capital by bus. What company routes and prices please? Thanks in advance for your help.

also,look here in VT destinations for Gran Canaria or playa El Ingles and then transportation.

I was in GC for Christmas and found that there are many buses in and out of P de Ingles.
You really have to go to the centre plan your route and then look at the timetables.
We would do a regular trip to Puerto de Megan and it cost Euro 1.60 each way per person.
As for the trips inland I can't help but the timetables are clear to read and of course there is the Tourist Information.
Bus drivers are very helpful and usually speak reasonable English.
At this time car hire is very reasonable and does give you a certain amount of freedom.Plenty of Car hire agents around the centre
