As some of you know, a VT group is getting together for a few days in Marrakesh at the end of May. And I guess I need to book one of the dinners. Any help with this would be appreciated. Here's what I need:

Restaurant Criteria:

1. Located centrally
2. Not too expensive
3. Can take reservations for around 15 people
4. Traditional Moroccan food
5. Licensed to serve alcohol
6. A place that has standard dishes for a fixed price would be a bonus
7. Another bonus would be music and entertainment

Hi Ed- During my tour of Marrakech last time, our guide booked this restaurant, Restaurante Islane,a roof terraced restaurant overlooking the Koutoubia Mosque, (near Djemma el Fnaa) and he arranged for bottles of wine/beer to be chilled in their fridges before we arrived.

There are supermarkets quite near in Gueliz, to buy alcohol. Djemma el Fnaa is quite a 'dry area'- I think there is just one bar nearby that serves alcohol.

Gueliz is the area to head to for beer/wine/cocktails (check out my Marrakech Restaurants tips for some ideas)I quite liked Le Lounge, which might be an option for you too.
