how do i get to damascus????
should i be looking for a taxi, bus or is there official transportation between the two cities??

is there a depot or special location for this journey???

how much should i expect to pay??

I have done the reverse journey Damascus to Amman. It involved getting a service taxi from Soumaria bus station in Damascus and arriving in Abdali bus station in Amman. This was a shared taxi with 3 other people in the car. I can't remember the exact price of the taxi but it was around the 10JD mark.

There is also a bus run by JETT. However, it takes around 2 hours longer at the border waiting for other passengers and is only about 2JD cheaper.
