Struggling to find a good sauna/steam place in Nice, preferably not gay for partner Steve. Will be staying in the port.

Seems hard to find.

Can anyone help please?

There is a sauna just next door to the foot of the Chateau 20-30 yards from the Ascenceur, which is pretty close to everything towards the Quai Etat Unis - not far from the Port

However what happens behind the front door is anybodys guess. Nice does have a fairly active gay scene so who knows.

I susppect some of the very top international hotels might have a fitness club including a steam room - check that out first.
