Boston hotel for Yanks=Sawx game, end of April
Posted: Sun March 15, 2009 02:56 AM UTC
I'm 50, solo, no car, looking for mid-priced hotel ($200 or less) which is quiet yet near subway. Does subway close at midnight? I will be attending my first Fenway game, but don't want to hear drunken partygoers under my window all night! Thanks for your help.

The Hilton and Sheraton hotels in Boston at the Prudential/Copley area are good choices. You will be right in the middle of everything, but the hotels have many floors. Just request a higher floor and you'll be fine. I've stayed at both hotels and didn't hear the street noise below. The subway stop is in the Prudential Mall, across the street from the Hilton and connected to the Sheraton via the Mall.

Try using Priceline.com - you can bid for your hotel room. I'm staying in downtown Boston in a 4 star hotel for less than $80. Good luck.
