Bratislava Travel Forum

We'll be coming into Bratislava by train and just staying one night. Anyone know a desent hotel. not to pricey? I heard about the boat- anything better? Thanks

I have not been to Bratislava in years, and I am not sure what is considered too pricey, but we stayed at the Hotel Forum and I was pleased with the hotel, food, accomodations and staff. Actually, we were looking for a place to buy a violin as a gift to take home, and one of the staff took us to his friend's house who sold us a violin. They treated us to baklava and were very hospitable, but spoke no english and we didn't speak the Slovak language. I don't remember the hotel as being too expensive, but it was several years ago. Good luck!

A couple of years ago on www.booking.com I found a room at the Crowne Plaza for Euros50 for two people. The hotel is extremely well located. Very nice rooms. Free internet. You might be lucky in finding a similar deal. You could also try www.alpharooms.com

Here's a link for Botel Gracia. I've heard mixed reviews about it but if it's only one night, it could be thought of as an adventure!

Unfortunately, they don't list their prices on their website, but other websites list their prices at around 45-50 Euros per night.
