Airport Transportation to Ha Noi Guest House

I will be arriving by air to Ha Noi around 10 am Mar 25. Ha Noi Guesst House was recommended. What modes of transportation are available from the airport to the Guest House (and other hotels) and how much? I'm by myself with a carry-on bag. I would appreciate any other recommendations for a budget hotel/guest house ($10-20USD rate). Thanks. -Hieu

If you go to the taxi rank the set price is VND230,000 ($14). There are shuttle busses at much lower, but after a long flight the ease of a taxi door to door might be worth it

I strongly recommend either Bodega Hotel or Democracy Hotel in Cau Go Street near Hoan Kiem Lake. You can arrange airport pick up for $15. Staff are very friendly. They have a travel desk that can arrange tour packages to Halong Bay and other tourist attractions. After our trip to Halong Bay, we were provided a room where to rest and take shower free of charge. They also arranged to purchase our train tickets, and even sent their staff to drop us at the train station free of charge.
