Bodrum travel from Bodrum to Istanbul

I am considering traveling from Bodrum to Istanbul later this year. Would be interested in knowing coach trips that are available or whether hiring a car is viable

Going by coach or car will take a long time.
Bodrum as its own airport and this may be the best option.

Take a plain. Local flights in turkey is fairly inexpensive. It will take you about an hour to fly vs. spending about 12 hours on rough windy road. check www.thy.com or www.onurair.com they offer one- way tickets from Bodrum to Int airport Istanbul.

Car and coach take too long, you will lose a day or more of your holiday (with stops) - jump on an internal flight which takes just over an hour.
