Mentioned restaurants forgot to tell you about shopping, unfortunately main strip has usual tourist tat but the Biosfera Complex is better with Zara, Mango,Timberland,Quicksilver and reasonable selection of bar/cafes.
Every Sunday there is a market in Teguise easily available bus, taxi or hire car with a "mix" of local crafts.

I was in P del C in Feb, and we ate in a gorgeous restaurant along the main street. It was very small (only a few tables) and not sure if it had a name, but it was very busy every night and served fabulous food! There was almost always a few people waiting to be seated and noone at the door trying to drag you in to the place!

You'll come across the restaurant as you walk towards the real centre of the 'strip' (where McDonalds and loads of clubs are) from Las Fariones direction. I'd recommend the steak with Canarian potatoes - yum! Apart from that, you'll find some nice restaurants down in the old town area (I think there was one called La Bodega which we really liked)

Enjoy your holiday!
