My family and I were thinking about visiting Lucerne about a year and a half ago. I found a very nice looking family run hotel but if I recall it was only open in the summer (or warmer) months. Does anyone have an idea what place this is and if it is still open for business?

As a very large number of hotels in this area are family run you could be looking for a needle in a haystack, and with no clues for anyone to go on it will be a chance in a million if anyone guesses correctly.

It would perhaps also help to know in which area the hotel was, what you remember about the surroundings, how far it was from the railway station or whichever point, etc.
