Melbourne tram map too small to read
Posted: Fri March 6, 2009 02:34 AM UTC
Me again, I,ve now booked an apartment in Collins street, Holiday Inn was a bit too dear. I printed off the map of inner city trams but can,t read a thing the print is minute. Does the free tram go past Southern Cross station? and where then heading into the city.
If I want to get from Souther C. to mid way up Collins st what tram can I use.?
The map looks very impressive on the computer screen but as soon as I print it
it,s only partly there and again unreadable.
Is the Immigration Museum worth visiting?

The city circle tram runs along past the docklands so it really by-passes the SC station now. it passes the corner of Flinders and Spencer Street so its not far a walk from that stop. I have a map which may help that I will email you. You can walk up collins street or take any number tram from the stop near the Spencer Street corner. Just jump on one and you will be fine. The tram drivers announce each stop so if you know the cross street you are looking for, keep listening and you will know when to get off the tram. Yes the Immigration Museum is worth seeing.

The Immigration Museum is absolutely worth seeing. It is a lively presentation that explains how immigration worked in different times by showing the stories of individual people, which makes it very personal. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
