Verona getting to Villa Bartolomea

Hi.

I can't seem to find a link anywhere to give advice, prices, times etc for getting from Verona train station to Villa Bartolomea.
Any help appreciated. Presuming the train is the easiest way?

Hy,
there's not a direct link from Verona station (Porta Nuova) to Villa Bartolomea. You must change in Legnago.
You get two choices:
1) By train from Verona to Legnago, then bus to Villa Bartolomea
2) By bus same itinerary.
Buses start in front the Verona and Legnago stations.
Link for train: http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=3fdbe14114bc9110VgnVCM10000080a3e90aRCRD
For buses: http://www.aptv.it/pdf/44.pdf
Fares:
By train and bus= 3.40€ train + 1.60€ bus ticket "tariffa 2"
By bus= 4.30 bus ticket "tariffa 7"
Hope this helps
Ciao, Marco

Actually, Villabartolomea has a tiny train station, and regional trains from Verona Porta Nuova to Rovigo do stop there (the bus stop is more central, But the town is little).

When you enquire the trenitalia /FS line, just be sure to type as destination exactly " Villabartolomea " and not "Villa Bartolomea" that is the official name of the town.

If you look at the line 44 bus Marco pointed to, you will see also that there is just one run, starting at 11, direct to there, on working days ( not on sundays).

Ciao
Francesco

Thanks - that was quick and very helpful.
Definitely using the official name worked.
I shall investigate further.
