Hello All!
We're off to Budapest at the end of the month and will doing a day in Bratislava. We'll be taking the train from Budapest Nyugati station and I believe we arrive at Bratislava Central station. From what I read in the travel pages and in my guide books the city centre is about 1.5 km from the train station. Unfortunately my Budapest guide book doesn't say much about Bratislava except how to get there and my Czech/Slovak Republics guidebook does not go into detail on how to get from the train station in Bratislava to the town centre. What bus/tram/metro can we take if we don't just walk there? Thanks a bunch~ MB |

The central train station is close downtown, you can take a bus or tram (# 13 is the best one), or simply walk (about 10 minutes). Ciao, Marco
