A friend and I will be staying in Cardiff for a few days in April, but are students on a budget. Any suggestions as to where we can stay? Our range is £20-40 a night, tops! Cheap B&Bs, hostels (preferably with double rooms) and any other suggestions welcome/desperately sought.

Maybe the Austins B&B could be an option. I once stayed there for two nights. It is centrally located and still resonably priced.

Hotel accommodation in Cardiff is quite expensive these days.

...by the way: I am not Horsecheck, but HORSCHECK. My nickname has nothing to do with checking horses, but was derived form a person who laughs like me, but that's another story.
