hi can anyone tell me if there is a bus that takes you from tarbes airport to lourdes and how much??thanks

you need to contact them for reservations and pricing. I have not taken buses when in the area.

If I remember right there is no real shuttle, only pilgrimage operators who take arriving passengers on a kind of guided tour. We just had this question discussed two weeks ago or so. As the distance is only about 10 km you could well take a taxi without risking bankrupcy.

Can recall the previous thread saying no regular bus which is strange given the number of flights each day. One site I have bookmarked is :
http://france-for-visitors.com/site-map.html under Tarbes it says - "Those coming into the Tarbes-Lourdes airport can reach the city by taxi (€22 to the city centre)." also says "by shuttle bus to the train station (€6 one way)"

to my previous: PAU-PYRENEES Airport 35 kms from Lourdes seems to takes most of the flights....could explain the "no shuttle at Tarbes" comment from previous thread.

Yes, it has been mentioned several times in another forum that as the majority of flights into Lourdes/Tarbes are charter flights, there is virtually no regular bus service between the airport and either town.

However Cars Lourdes advertises on its website http://www.car-lourdes.com/navette.htm

"Services réguliers entre aéroport Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées pour les vols Air France jusqu'à votre hôtel Tarif de 35 F par personne, gratuit jusqu'à 12ans."

Whether that's any help I don't know!
