Melbourne Supplements to bring in to Melbourne Airport
Posted: Wed February 25, 2009 10:01 AM UTC
I will be travelling from Malaysia to Melbourne this May for 2 weeks holidays. Can I bring in my own supplements to Australia such as vitamin C tablets, Ginkgo Bilova tablets, cod liver oil in capsules, multivitamins in capsules and evening primrose oil in capsules for the purpose of my own daily intake only? I have read the rules and regulations on what not to bring in to Australia but it did not say anything on supplements. Just want to be sure about this. Can anyone advise me on this?

Yes you can take this provided it is only for your consumption as you mentioned.please declare these in the forms that will be given to you.I did carry a few supplements for personal use when i travelled there just a few months back.
hope this helps,

Those supplements should be allowed into Australia provided they are declared on customs form. In any case- they are also freely available to buy in Australia, and very cheap here.
