Dear All,
We are planning our first trip to bali.
what is the distance between sanur beach and kuta area (restaurant cafes and night life?)?
How do we get there cheapest from sanur beach?
How much would a taxi cost? what other way is there to get around in the whole bali area?
Many thanks for your tips in advance

Hello
Welcome to Bali for the first time.
To give a light hearted answer to your questions
Q/ "what is the distance between sanur beach and kuta area (restaurant cafes and night life?)?"
A/ about 25Km
Q/ "How do we get there cheapest from sanur beach?"
A/ Walking is the cheapest way :)
Q/ "How much would a taxi cost?"
A/ "A Taxi is about 170,000,000rp to buy or about 50,000rp for a ride from Sanur Beach to Kuta Area one way.
Q/"what other way is there to get around in the whole bali area?"
A/
1/ Walking but it would take a long time,
2/Bicycle still a long time but quicker than walking,
3/Motor Bike not so bad but fairly uncomfortable especially on the long mountain roads,
4/Public Transport uncomfortable needs a lot of planning and is unreliable in the remote areas,
5/Car either with self drive or car with driver, this is the best option to see the Island, you can hire a car easily in Bali, even hire GPS Navigation which tells you the roads to take to get to where you want to be, or you can use a car with driver, someone who knows the way around and does all the work while you relax and enjoy your holiday.
6/Helicopter the quickest and most expensive option, and you only actually see things from the air (obviously)
7/ Charter a yacht, another expensive option but at least you could get around the Island but you would miss the centre.
