Is this Hotel Good?

Hi,

I will be visiting Sao Paulo during the first two weeks of March 2009. I have reserved the room in the following Hotel

HOTEL - MAKSOUD PLAZA
ADDR: ALAMEDA CAMPINAS 150 TELEPHONE: 55-11-31458000
SAO PAULO, SP 01404-900 FAX: 55-11-31458001
BRAZIL

Does this neighborhood good in terms of having restaurants, bars and a good night life around. Hotel is quoting $135 per night ( as this is within my range of around $200/night budget). Any other inputs would be appreciated.

the hotel is fantastic, my home in Sao Paulo for many years of business and pleasure visits. YOu will be right off ave Paulista, the main road with many shops, restos,bars,great night life.
The rate is excellent i usually pay 150 and up, stay around the 12 floor.

I am working on going back there by my company this year ::)
