Thank you, Boggild and Sjalen, for the replies.

Besides Stena, what other company services are available for ferry (vehicle) between Frederikshavn to Goteborg please ? If you know of an english website for these companies, please include them in your reply.

Most Appreciated * Sham.

Frederikshavn - Göteborg is only serviced by Stena. There is both a high speed ferry (travel time app. 2 hours) and a "nomal" ferry (travel time app. 4 hours).

HI Boggild,

Would you, by any chance, know of Stena's operating hours during winter ?

The hours differ from day to day - see more at www.stenaline.dk, then select " tider & priser". As I assume you don't read Danish it will probably be a bit difficult for you to interpret the information of the site.

In the winterseason there seems to be between three and five ferrys a day from Göteborg to Frederikshavn.

Yes even if you try www.stena.com you end up with the Danish and Swedish sites when clicking and they have no English page! Mysterious...
The slow ferry takes 3 hrs 15 and the seacat 1 hr 45 and as Henrik already said, there are about five a day to chose from.

It's the same. Stena Line uses a fast speed ferry that they call Stena Express. There used to be a company called SeaCat (as the one in UK) where my friend used to work but I think they folded when Stena started using a catamaran too as that was their only speciality on a run long done by Stena already.

(Since Stena is a Göteborg company - Sten is a man's name in Sweden and the name of the founder. "A" was the first letter of his surname...)
