Agadir, Taghazout and surrounding areas in a week, alone and on a small budget Posted: Mon February 16, 2009 10:28 PM UTC
I visited Morocco in February 2007 and saw Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, Casablanca and Essaoira. It was a great trip but I never made it to Agadir. I have a week at the start of March and want to get down there and enjoy some beaches and sunshine. I have looked at some websites and it said about 70 degrees which is about what it was when I went last time. Is this realistic? I really want some sun after a bleak british winter.
I have never really tried surfing properly and want to try it at Tagazoute. What is the accomodation like there? Is there much of a backpacker scene there? What is the accomodation like? Can anyone recommend any good hostels or budget hotels? I'm travelling alone but usually have no problem meeting people to hang around with.
Beyond Tagazoute and Agadir are there any other places that people would recommend in the area or south of agadir?
