| Skagen | Are we allowed to walk to the edge of Grenen during winter ? Posted: Mon November 10, 2003 06:16 AM UTC
Am planning a trip to Skagen =)
I understand that 'Sandormen' services are closed during winter and that tis a long walk to the edge of Grenen. But suppose, we wanna walk (or drive our vehicle) to the edge of Grenen, would anyone know if we are allowed to do so ? Thank you. *Sham |

Yes, you are allowed to walk out there all year round. I would not take my own car - risk of getting stuck in the sand as well as you miss a wonderfull walk (even though it can be a bit rough in wintertime).

Hi !
There are no restrictions possible, as there are no fences. Sandormen goes a rather long way between the dunes, but if you go along the coastline, it is much closer. At the parking, go to the right, there is a small hill with a grave, where you will see that special place in the distance. - maybe 20-30 minutes to walk to get there. And this time of the year, you might have it all for yourself, without a bunch of people around !!
