Things to do?

Hi,
We are planning a family reunion- grandparents, children , grandchildren( all 9 years and under). Is there enough on the island to keep everyone busy? Ae there shops, restaurants within walking disatance?

There is Fort Gaines, a bird sanctuary (actually the entire Island is a bird sanctuary), beaches, restaurants, fishing piers, there are charter boats available for deep sea fishing, a sea lab. There's a lot of stuff for kids of all ages to do. Just about everything is within walking distance on the Island. It's basicly two small islands connected by a causeway. the large island (central one anyway) has the shops, restaurants, beaches, etc.. Enjoy your reunion! Susan
