Hi

Can anyone advise on reasonably priced hotels or B&Bs in Durban, preferably the Musgrave/Berea/Florida Rd area?

Thanks!

One of the friend has stayed in Durban Backpackers last year.. but it is not in the areas you are looking for but if you want you can still have a look.. dormitory is just over a R 100.00 per night... it is in Glenashley area on the beach .. here is the website http://www.durbanbackpackers.com/

Try this website. http://www.sa-venues.com/kwazulunatal-bandb.php
Page down a little and click on the B&B's listed in the areas you're interested in -Berea has 7 B&B's listed & Musgrave lists 1. You can also check hotels by using the sub-menu bar on the right-hand side.
I've used this site several times when visiting SA and have had good luck with it. Have used it for B&B's in CT, Grahamstown, East London, Durban and Jo'burg. We found a fantastic B&B in CT on this site (no stars) but was perfect for R750 a night for the whole place-there were 3 of us, so it really worked out as a bargain.
Good luck hunting for a place.
