Traveling alone March 1st 2009

I will be traveling to Cuba first of march for two weeks. I will be staying in Havana, but want to travel elsewhere as well. Wondering if there are any other solo travelers there during this time. Just checking if anyone feels like meeting up for a mojito or a trip to Santiago for the day. Whatever anyone is into let me know

Day trip to Santiago is a little ambitious, eventhough it is possible, taking the first flight out and coming back on the 11 pm flight. but it wouldnt do justice to our caribbean pearl of a city just to spend a few hours there..also it is nice to stay at the hotel right downtown and watch the people at the square..while sipping something nice on the balcony.
there are daily options out of havana to suit your tastes as well as overnight trips. Hope you meet up with someone and then explore this lovely island..
