Hello,

In May 2009 we are going to Moscow. I am going to use a visa service in the Netherlands to get me a visa. The hotel however I want to book myself.

Does anyone have tips on booking a cheap hotel or other accomodation, a bit in the centre of Moscow, which provide you with an invitation letter ?

As regards booking a cheap hotel online, I would recommend that you either go for Expedia.com or RightReservations.com. I have found these sites to be quite cheap (specially the later one - when it comes to final grand total) for online & phone hotel reservations. I am not sure about the invitation but you might consider calling their U.S. Toll Free numbers to see if they can help you with that. Alternatively you can choose a hotel on these sites and then call that hotel directly to check if they would arrange an invitation for you. You may not be able to get a lower rate when booking directly with the hotel, but you'll most likely get the visa invitation information from them.
