Hello,

I will be traveling from Trier to Paris, with a few hours stop in Luxembourg city. I was wandering if there is a bus service between Luxembourg and Paris. I am looking for a cheaper option to the TGV. I checked euroline but they don't seem to have service on that route.

the cheapest is to try to share the car with someone going to Paris:

i always go by car, and its very nice, even to Trier. But this is the site of the transport service in Luxembourg, it has trip to Gare de l'est in Paris by train. You can play with the site for buses.

Thanks luisalaranjo.. saw some ads for car sharing.. But i have time, as i am traveling in June.

@pedmar The Luxembourg transport website replied saying they don't have info on international buses. :s Thanks for the link though.

Since you will be travelling in June you can take advantage of the cheap TGV fares that are offered if you book in advance. The cheapest tickets are 25,- Euro. I doubt you'll be able to find cheaper anywhere...

ok ronbeck i figure it wasnt any, but rather let you check it out yourself. I do go by car even for a day to have lunch at pl d'armes in luxembourg city.Trier is so close by, and the oldest city in Germany ::) (Romans time).

train is not bad, and as told ,you can still find a good rate. Have a great trip.
