we need 1 night at hotel (not far from airport) with transfers. Can samebody help us?

We sayed at the "Golden Tulip" 10 min from the Airport, with free transfet with Minibus.
In early Octomber 2008 we paid €50 for dublle room with dinner & breakfast.
Nothing spectacular, but comfortabel and clean.
We missed our conection flight to Frnkfurt, and had to wait for 36hrs.
This was arranged for us at the airoport, very good choice.
I point out that inside the hotel is Tourist office/Shop, and we booked 3 hrs night sightseeing of Amman with them.
Great choice. They also suggested good restaurant in Amman, where we sampled local food.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza on the western edge of the city. The airport is to the west as well.

(2nd tip).

Taxis are very very cheap in Amman. They will try it on, but you are talking probably about $5-6. $10 tops. |Depends on your haggling skills.

The Crown Plaza is just far eneough into Amman without the crazy traffic. I rented a car from them mucg cheaper than Avis and drove all over Jordan.
