Recommendation for a Travel Agency in Sao Paulo

Hi There,

I have bought my tickets to Sao Paulo and back to Calgary Canada. I would like to buy some dometic flight tickets in Brazil. Any recommendations for a good travel agency in Sao Paulo, who has english speaking staff as my Portuguese is limited. If possible I would like to call from Canada and have my tickets booked.

if you want to buy air ticket go straight to airline site (or your travel agent at home).

p.s. you might change your Calgary-SaoPauo ticket adding some domestic
flights, usually is cheaper.
Anyway, if you'll book directly you avoid any scam....

TAM is very expensive and I tried Azul airline but they can not process credit card out of Brazil and I do not have Brazilian credit card. If there was a travel agency they might be able to process canadian Credit card.

ok... you noticed Azul has flights from Sao Paulo-Campinas and not GRU? those are different airports and from Canada you'll land and take off at/from GRU.

Personally I would raccomend to buy directly from airline and not by any travel agent in Brazil. Ask your travel agent, AZUL might have a GDS code for reservation as today it's a must for "seriuos" airlines.

You can go online and book directly with Gol. The last time I booked they were still taking only American Express, but that may have changed. Excellent airline and fairly inexpensive. When you get to their web site look for the drop down menu for languages you won't see an English selection, just click on other and it will take you to the English site.

It has been now more than two years since GOL accept all the cards (before the foreigners could only pay with American Express) and you'll find booking online with them quite easy. You can sometimes find incredible promotional prices for certain flights and dates. GOL is great!

Usually there are NO deals for Salvador/Rio Carnivals and lesser the two/three weeks before it, at least some flight before/after one day could be cheaper, but still expensive for Brazil.
Somewhere I read "brazilian use this happy hours in order to make some easy money" and this is true.
Sure, GOL accept all CC now.

Gol is charging R$600 for one to Salvador, Azul R$319 and so is Ocean Air but Azul and Ocean do not accept CC from other countries and yes I am aware of Azul departure is from campinhas but they do provide bus to the airport from closer to Paulista Ave. I wan to get 2 tickets for Feb 17 flying from Sao Pauo tp salvador and I do not arrive in SP till feb 13...the Azul and ocean will only hold till feb 11...what a luck..thanks for your suggestions..
